Who knew carrots could be this chic? Dara Daucus is the ornamental carrot that’s here to steal the spotlight, not in your salad, but in your centerpiece. With lacy, 3–5" umbels that float like floral fireworks atop tall, elegant stems, Dara delivers a dreamy wash of color that shifts from creamy white to blush pink to deep maroon red as the blooms mature. It’s basically nature’s ombré filler and we are obsessed.
A distant (and dazzling) cousin of Queen Anne’s Lace, Dara is a bouquet’s best friend, adding texture, movement, and just the right amount of wild whimsy. Each plant produces 7–15 long, sturdy stems, making it as productive as it is pretty. And trust us, these airy blooms are long-lasting, which means your arrangements stay gorgeous longer.
Reaching up to 4 feet tall, Dara Daucus is as graceful in the garden as it is in a vase, thriving as a dramatic border plant or cut flower superstar. Whether you're going for boho romance, soft and airy, or bold and unexpected, Dara always delivers a little lace and a whole lot of wow.
