description
This florist favorite Scabiosa, Fata Morgana, is a creamy variety of the pincushion flower. Slow to start, waiting for your scabiosa to bloom is a bit like watching paint peel. But once your pincushion plant gets going, you'll find it was worth the wait. Reminiscent of a hand dipped scoop of vanilla ice cream, this summer bloom demands to be the tiara-topped fairy princess of your bouquets. Scabiosas, despite the unfortunate name, are a delight to grow. Their seeds are large and easy to handle and germinate readily. We recommend starting in seed trays and transplanting into well-draining garden beds or raised containers and we include a growing guide with your order to help you find success. Once established pincushion plants can take some neglect, they don't need a ton of watering.
