Glass Gem is a unique variety of ornamental corn featuring a rainbow of jewel-toned kernels that are almost too cool to be real, but they are! These corn plants can easily reach 8' tall. When growing corn, make sure to grow multiple plants and space each row two to three feet apart with 10 inches between plants. Corn plants do not like to be crowded. Not only can these colorful cobs can be used decoratively, but they can also be used to make colorful popcorn or cornmeal! Why grow boring yellow corn when you can grow your own cobs of rainbows?

    Received the order very quickly. Packaging was super cute and instructions were great. I planted my corms today, so I’m giving 4 stars for quality since I don’t know yet how they will do! They were substantially smaller than some other corms that I’ve ordered from other places (I planted over 400 ranunculus this year) but the size of the corm doesn’t have a thing to do with how the plant grows and blooms. I will definitely order again next season because this vendor has some interesting varieties.
