Sunflower Frilly Seeds

Sunflowers are one of the easiest flowers to grow from seed, they especially enjoy hot climates. Once established they are drought tolerant too! Great for Summer cut flower beds.

Frilly is a new-to-me variety, that I do not yet have photos of yet, so look on Google images for photos of Frilly sunflowers. They have a ring of unique, dainty petals around the brown center, and larger but thin, "frilly" yellow petals encircling the entire center. Very neat and special. Adds great texture to a summer or fall bouquet.

This is a branching variety, meaning you can pinch them for more stems and smaller flowers. If you grow these closer together, they will make smaller blooms (my preference). If you want larger flowers, grow further apart and don't pinch.
